example POETRY BANGLES and sizing explained
I make many different bangles, sized small medium and large or you can tell me what internal diameter you'd require. The silver I use is either round wire or oval wire, which gets etched in a variety of styles. Cuff can have 18ct gold squares or granulation added.
Prices start from £179 - £280+
I like to attach a tactile movable cuff with words, poetry and granulation added. Then sometimes I will add a 18ct gold link or heart or square too. The worlds your oyster really.
I suggest that you get in touch and talk with me if you'd like to commission a bangle, its a really simple process!
How to measure your hand to get a bangle size:
Measure the widest part of your hand not your wrist.
Bring your fingers together and tuck your thumb in -like you would when putting on a bangle.
Use a flexible measuring tape or strip of paper, to wrap around the widest part of your hand (usually the knuckles)
Mark the point where the tape overlaps.
tell me this length. ( i will then convert this hand circumference to find the internal diameter, using the formula circumference divided by 3.14
for example, if your hand measures 21cm around, the ideal bangle diameter would be 6.7cm
FIT TIP ..a well fitting bangle should slide over your knuckles with slight resistance and sit comfortably on your wrist without slipping off.
